Prenote: The translation in English of this highly sanskritized Telugu poem is given below. This poem is about a small self-discourse in the heart. One can club very complex emotions within few words in Sanskrit, which is not possible in English.

English translation:

Glance at face makes the heart flutter with symphony and its like a moon that can bring a pleasant smile

hearing those honey dripping tender words; steal the exalted heart with sonority and delicacy

thoughts in the mind are like breezes of wind that can open hitherto locked heart
reminding a dish that was a mélange of bliss and pain with its tantalizing taste

absence is untenable by inducing a fear as if in a well of blind darkness during night

Oh my Lord! what is this illusion!!!God of gods, Save me!!!

- Krishna Chaitanya (Paris, 10/12/2014)

English Transliteration:

Mōmugān̄cite manōllāsabharita mandahāsajanaka candrabimbamu
tēnepalukuluvinna mr̥dumanōharōddīpita śrāvyamādhurīgōcaramu
bādhānandakadamba rucinigolputu mānasamandirāna rasabhōjyamagu
talapulēmō rakṣābandhita hr̥daya gavākṣamulanu tericeḍi virahavīcikalē
abhāvamō mariṅka bharimparāni niśākūpa timirāndhakara bhayōtpannamu
hē āpadbhāndava kr̥ṣṇā! Ēmiṭī mr̥gatr̥ṣṇa!! Trāhimāṁ dēvadēva!!!
